Registrations:

Summer 2023/24 Registration - Now closed.

SAUCNA Closed Team Registrations on 2nd September, 2023.

Teams will be confirmed and once grading has been completed, notice will be sent to all teams towards the end of september.

Please note, unlike Winter, the Open Summer Competition is a separate competition to the Junior Summer Competition.

Registration for one Season does not mean you are registered in the other.

If you are a junior and you wish to play Open you must also register using the Open registration form.

TRIALS

We do not trial for the summer competition. Winter teams tend to continue into the summer competition. Players may be added to existing teams on the basis of experience at the discretion of the selection panel, or in the event we form new teams based on information provided during registration. We endeavour to keep our numbers reasonable, that is to 9 players, to ensure fair game time. We will endeavour to ensure all registrants are placed in a team, we are not able to guarantee a position in a specific team to players who did not play in the previous winter season. Requests to play with a specific friend/team will be noted, but may not be possible, when considering the whole group of players an all of their needs.

Winter 2024 Registrations:

Open NOW, Close January, 2024

PLEASE NOTE: It is crucial that nominations are received by the due date, to enable planning and participation in trails to ensure accurate team placement. Under some circumstances, we may choose to allow players to join after the closing date, however this generally only occurs where we seek to boost numbers, or to ensure appropriate skill mix. Players are placed in teams according to our SELECTION POLICY, and this may mean players may be placed in a different team to their friends, or a prior team. The selections are made with the interests of the player and the team in mind, and therefore decisions are to be considered final. Playing Age Groups:

8 and Under: Children born years 2016-2020
9 and Under: Children born years 2016/2015
11 and Under: Children born years 2014/2013
13 and Under: Children born years 2012/2011
15 and Under: Children born years 2009/2010
17 and Under: Children born years 2007/2008

Opens: 2006 or before. Players aged 15 can play Open Netball.
