training information:

In 2025 St Monica’s is moving to aligned Training nights for U8 to U15 Junior Grades. Training is compulsory during the Winter Season. Winter Season training is held on the following evenings at the Laure Knight Reserve on Romilly Avenue, Manningham:

U8 & U9 - Monday 4.30pm - 6pm

U11 - Thursday 5pm - 7pm

U13 - Tuesday 5pm - 7pm

U15 - Wednesday 5pm - 7pm

U17 and Open are not subject to assigned training nights

Players who have continued absence will receive reduced court time if all other players are available. All team members will typically train with their own team.

Players who already have very busy schedules should think about whether a team sport is going to work for them.

All winter games are played on Saturday afternoons at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3:00pm.
Under 8's to Under 15's play on suburban courts: Home games at Romilly Ave, Away Games at the Opposing team’s home courts.
In each season there will be 1 home game and 1 away game against each team unless regrading affects the draw.

Opposition clubs can be south at Hallett Cove or Seacliff, east at Morialta or Burnside, and west at Henley or Grange, as an example.

During the Summer Season there is no formal training (although some teams may elect to have some trainings prior to the season start) and all games are played at the Anzac Highway Association Courts.

 

COVID-19 still exists in the community. Both COVID-19, influenza and the common cold impacts players and families, and can significantly affect those with respiratory challenges (eg those with asthma). We remind all players and families that if you are unwell, to avoid participating in team sports, or close contact with other players or spectators.
